Continuing Series Finale Month, we are having some cocktails and returning to the office with Mad Men. Starting out in the conservative 1960 and ending the series in the much more casual, laid back 1970. Don is having an identity crisis. Betty comes face to face with her own mortality. Joan and Peggy are finding their own path to success. And Pete... well, who actually cares about Pete? Anna reflects on watching the series finale when it originally aired and how the show resonates with her being a child of the 70's. And Jeff had to edit so much of himself during the plot summary, he vows to never drink while recording ever again! Come take a listen!

This is going to be an emotional month for both of us as we delve into one of Jeff's all-time favorite series finales, The Wonder Years. It's 1973 and Kevin is working a summer job but is contemplating his future. Not everything turns out like you plan and Kevin learns this the hard way. On today's episode, we mostly talk about what we thought of the series finale, if we agree with how it ended, and we briefly talk about summer jobs. Jeff even gets a little choked up at the end while reading the final narration of Adult Kevin. Come take a listen!

We're kicking off Series Finale Month with one of Anna's favorite shows, Gilmore Girls. One of the more polarizing series finales, you either loved it or hated it but we both fall somewhere in the middle. Rory is saying goodbye to her mother, her family, and the people of Stars Hollow to pursue her dreams but it isn't easy for anyone, especially the townspeople who are REALLY involved in her life. Along with the series finale, we share our personal history with transitioning to a new city, surprise parties, and much more! Come take a listen!

***TRIGGER WARNING: WE TALK ABOUT SU*CIDE IN THIS EPISODE*** Today's episode we get a little emotional despite the show we watched being a comedy. We are talking The Politician, a lesser known show in the Ryan Murphy catalog but one that has gained a cult following. A series about an aspiring politician running for senior class president and who will do whatever takes to win. Along with the pilot, we are discussing the recent controversy involving Ryan Murphy and Keke Palmer, class elections from our past, and at the end of the episode, Jeff shares a very personal story involving su*cide. We get a little heavy at the end but it's a great episode. Come take a listen.
