Ep. 48 - Parks and Recreation

We're heading over to Pawnee, Indiana and hanging out with the gang from the Parks and Rec department. A show that had a rough start but became one of the top shows on TV during its run and a show we both love. Ep. 47 - M*A*S*H

In honor of Veterans Day, we are judging the pilot for one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, M*A*S*H. Along with the pilot, we are discussing if we ever considered joining the military, Anna looks back on when the show originally aired, and we even talk about M.A.S.H. the game. Did you end up living in a mansion, apartment, shack, or house? Anna also puts our love on the line and we take the True Love Test. Ep. 46 - The West Wing

We're continuing November with one of the most famous political dramas of all time, The West Wing. It had star-studded cast, one of the best screenwriters ever was running the show, and we were on the cusp of the technological and social shift that came with the 2000s. Along with the pilot, we're discussing Anna's trip to The White House, who did and didn't own a pager, we even have a little talk about The Real World, and much more! Come take a listen!

Ep. 45 - Veep

It's Election Day and things are getting intense so we decided to lighten it up with a little comedy so we landed on one of the most acclaimed comedies of the last decade, Veep. Even though the pilot made us laugh, that didn't stop us from getting serious because a long with the pilot, we're discussing cancel culture, but we also had some fun and Anna talks about being an election commissioner and being an alumnae chapter president. We're kicking off November with a show neither one of us has ever seen and we can't believe we let this show slip under both of our radars! We're talking Scandal! Along with the pilot, we are also discussing blind dates, first days on a new job, and Jeff tells the story of the shortest job he ever had plus much more! Come take a listen!

Ep. 43 - Stranger Things

What do you get when you combine fantasy, sci-fi, 80s nostalgia, and kids on bikes? You get the show we're wrapping up Jeff Month with... Stranger Things. Considered to be one of Netflix's flagship series, this was one of the first shows that introduced us to "binge-watching". Along with the pilot, we discuss why we love this show, some of our favorite things from the 80s, a special story about us that revolves around the season 2 finale, and much more. Ep. 42 - Twin Peaks

What would you say to a tv show described as a classic detective fiction/murder mystery but also has supernatural elements taken from horror movies and the melodrama of a soap opera? Well, we would say: "that sounds like Twin Peaks." And that's exactly what we watched for this episode. We decided to dive into this infamous tv show with its star-studded cast and quirky sense of humor.
